1. Registering a Hotel: First Steps and Registration

Here, we will begin the hotel registration process. To access it, click Hotel > Hotels.

 

From this point on, whenever you want to register a new item within the workflow (at this stage and in the stages covered in the following articles), click the New icon.

 

 

 

Now, let's take a look at the fields available on this page:

Name: Hotel name.

Government Registration: Enter the government registration number according to the country where the hotel is being registered. In Brazil, the CNPJ is used.

Address: This section includes street number, additional address information, district/neighborhood, country, state, ZIP/postal code, and other details. Together, these fields make up the hotel's complete address.

Number: Hotel street number.

Additional Information: Any additional address details for the hotel, if necessary.

Neighborhood/District

Country

State (Code)

ZIP/Postal Code

Latitude/Longitude: This icon is used to Find Coordinates. When you click the related Latitude/Longitude icon, a pop-up window appears. Enter an address and click Search. After finding the desired address, select Select Coordinates.

Category: Accommodation category.

Tripadvisor ID: In this field, you can enter your Tripadvisor ID if you have an integration with the platform. Once this field is completed, users will be able to view the hotel's Tripadvisor reviews.

Phone

Voucher Information: The information entered in this field will appear on the booking voucher. Any relevant information can be added. For example: At the hotel, housekeeping service must be requested once per guest.

Website: Website URL.

 

Notification Email: For any booking or modification, a notification email will be sent to the email address entered in this field. You can add more than one email address by separating them with a semicolon (;).

Guarantee Notifications: This field should contain the email address of the person responsible for receiving credit card reservation data. Below, we will explain how to access this information. You can add more than one email address by separating them with a semicolon (;).

Time Zone: Time zone of the country where the accommodation is located.

Culture: Language.

On Request if Unavailable?: Select this option if the accommodation has no availability but accepts bookings on request.

On Request Before the Minimum Advance Booking Period?: Allows you to define a minimum number of days in advance required to make a reservation. In other words, the hotel will not accept reservations made within the minimum advance booking period before check-in. However, if this option is enabled, bookings can still be submitted as On Request.

 

? Tip: We recommend enabling On Request so that hotels with this capability are included in search results.

 

Check-in Time

Valid Check-in Days: This field is used to indicate which days of the week are valid for check-in.

Valid Check-out Days: This field is used to indicate which days of the week are valid for check-out.

General Hotel Policy: General accommodation policy. This is an informational text field only.

  • Hotel Description: Optional, as the system already contains the hotel description in our database.

Rate Calculation Type

  • Room: The rate calculation is based on the room value, regardless of the number of guests.
  • Person: The rate calculation is based on the number of guests staying in the room.

Rate Reference Type

This field is used to define the type of rate that will be applied:

  • Net: Allows the addition of a markup.
  • Commissionable: Allows discounts.
  • Valid Credit Cards: In this field, you can select the credit card types accepted by your system.

? Tip: Always remember to enable the Active option so that the hotel appears as active in the system.

Child (CHD) Configuration

  • Maximum Age for CHD: The maximum age for a person to be considered a child.
  • CHD Rate Distinguished by Age Range: Select this option if the accommodation has different rates based on children's age groups.

Once all fields have been completed, click Save.
