4. Registering a Hotel: Rooms

Continuing the hotel setup process, in this article we will see how to register rooms:

Here you can register all room types offered by the hotel, for example: SGL Standard, SGL Deluxe, DBL Standard, etc.

Name: Room name/category

Minimum Availability for Alert: This field is used to define a threshold at which the system will send a notification when availability is equal to or lower than the reported value. The system sends an email alert about low availability and highlights the availability calendar in yellow.

Minimum Guests: Minimum number of guests in the room.

Maximum Guests: Maximum number of guests in the room, including children and adults.

Accepts Children?: Indicates whether the room accepts/accommodates children. When enabled, the system displays the following fields:

Maximum CHD Quantity: Maximum number of children allowed in the room.

Maximum ADT Quantity: Maximum number of adults allowed in the room.

‼️ Attention: The configuration of maximum adults and children is not cumulative. The maximum number of guests always takes priority. These values only help the system generate possible room occupancy combinations.

Sort Order: Used to define the order in which rooms appear in the list.

Don’t forget to click “Active”

Extra Bed Configuration: Option to add an extra bed in the room. If an extra bed is required, its price must be defined.
